• Man's body was made from the dust of the Earth, but God breathed
    into man His breath and man became a living soul.  Gen. 2:7 - And
    the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and
    breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became
    a living soul.
  • Man is separated from God by his sin.  Isaiah 59:2 - But your
    iniquities have separated between you and your God . . .
  • This separation will lead to death and judgment. Heb. 9:27 - And as
    it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the
    judgment:  2 Thes. 1:8 & 9 - In flaming fire, taking vengeance
    on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of
    our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with
    everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and
    from the glory of His power;
  • God has provided one way for man to be saved from this judgment
    and to have everlasting life.  Because of His love for you He gave His
    only begotten son to pay the penalty of your sin and the sin of all.  
    John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His only
    begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not
    perish, but have everlasting life.  1 Pet. 3:18 - For Christ also
    hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He
    might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but
    quickened by the Spirit:
  • Eternal salvation is God's free gift to those who will receive that gift,
    God will change your heart and break the power of sin over your
    life.  Rom. 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of
    God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Rom. 6:14 -
    For sin shall not have dominion over you:  for ye are not
    under the law, but under grace.  Rom. 6:16 - Know ye not, that
    to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, His servants
    ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of
    obedience until righteousness?
