A PARENT-LED SCHOOL DAY
True Vine Christian School is designed for an active parent who wants to teach, guide, discuss, and learn alongside each child. Families should plan on dedicating roughly a couple of hours per child on most school days, with the exact time varying by age, pace, and the day’s activities.
Much of the learning happens away from the screen: reading together, handwriting, printed math practice, science observations and experiments, projects, physical activity, art, life skills, and real conversation.
A LOOK INSIDE
Parents get the planning and recordkeeping tools. Students get a simpler lesson-focused experience. Each student keeps separate progress and records.
Know what to teach, what the student should practice, and what comes next without piecing together a school day from several systems.
Technology supports the curriculum without replacing handwriting, books, worksheets, experiments, projects, and hands-on practice.
Each child gets their own profile for lessons, mastery, work samples, records, and planning, so siblings can learn at their own pace without mixing their schoolwork or progress.
Use the standard plan or adapt the school day around family needs while keeping a coherent year-long academic sequence.
Scripture, character, morality, history, and worldview can be taught naturally while academic subjects remain accurate and substantive.
Practical life skills, P.E., health, arts, geography, logic games, typing, projects, and nature study round out the core subjects.
